About NEWCC

The North Eltham Wanderers Cricket Club was established in 1981 and in season 2006/07 celebrated its 25th anniversary in the Diamond Valley Cricket Association.

The Club has its clubrooms and main oval at the North Eltham Community Centre on Wattletree Road Elham North. In season 2008/09 the Club has 6 senior teams, ranging from Money Shield, Money Shield Reserve, C, E, F, and H grades. It also plans to field 14 junior teams comprising of 2 Under 16's, 4 Under 14's, 3 Under 12's - competitive, 2 Development Under 12's, and 3 Modified Under 12 teams. The Club also has a Milo Have-a Go program on Sunday mornings, where young cricketers learn the skills of the game. This makes the North Eltham Wanderers the biggest cricket club in the Diamond Valley, and still growing!!

The Committee promotes the Club as “the family club” and has a strong commitment to junior development, with many of the 1st Eleven team playing in the Money Shield competition having graduated from our junior teams over the past 7 or 8 years.

The Club is accredited as a "Good Sports" club, and this is recognised throughout the community. In season 2007/08 our major sponsor is "SELECO", and we are proud to announce this will be the first of 3 seasons.
