North Eltham will again be running an IN-2-CRICKET program (formerly Have-A-Go) for season 2009/2010.

Registration Day is Sunday 18th October at 9:30am at the clubrooms on Cedar Ave ( off Wattletree Rd ) Eltham North.

The IN-2-CRICKET program is a fun, introductory cricket program for girls and boys aged 5 - 10 years. The aim of the program is to introduce children to cricket skills and activities in a structured manner with an emphasis on fun. The program covers a range of fundamental motor skills important to childhood development - hitting a ball, catching, throwing, running, stopping, balance and co-ordination. It also caters for varying individual skill and age levels.

In addition it involves important social skills including teamwork, co-operation, communication, and learning how to approach winning and losing.
